| Lissa. 3 years later: and you're still the girl; who sails a ways, on the wind of my dreams.... Always here, barely there, constantly ephemeral, dubiously everpresent.... As if DaVinci's "Mona." Lissa, my muse.... As though Picasso's "Blue Guitarist." | Like ghost images/ /mind | my guiding light/ /in | locked frame/ /one | of museums/ /& only | like memories/ /is that | that is/ /memories like | & only/ /museums of | one/ /frame locked | in/ /light guiding my | mind/ /images ghost like Abre Los Ojos/ /Vanilla Skies As though Picasso's "Blue Guitarist," as if DaVinci's "Mona." Lissa, my muse.... Always there, barely here, constantly everpresent, dubiously ephemeral.... 3 years later: and you're still the girl; who sails a ways, on the wind of my dreams.... Just because: you ARE; Melissa, the way you are.... I cannot imagine a life – living without you in it. It's hard. | | |

| She was, that is, as I recall; as always in my dreams..... She the artists hand, an apparition, or rather, as it were her an astral projection from whence we met. A concrete figment of my imagination, as real as she was. My love. She is. What dreams may come? | | |
| Sharing art in articles Books and artful things
Pictures in photographs Of people we've never seen
Images in pixels a facsimile Of places we've never been
I hope I can find the words To give my spirit wings
So I could fly to you You could fly to me And we'd never be apart Sharing heart in parts of cells Magazines and needful things
Pixels in photographs, Of people we've never seen
Imagine in pixels a facsimile Of people we've never been
I wish I could find a way To lift your spirits wings
Talking in my sleep Crying in my dreams For you to wake up next to me | | |
| "If I had to lose a mile/ If I had to touch feeling/ I would lose my soul/ The way I do// [....] I don't have to think/ I only have to do it/ The results are always perfect/ But that's old news//" ~Nirvana acoustic cover of the Meatpuppets.
if only it were that easy. my new years resolution is.... ah, haha, yeah... i bet you forgot about that one already haven't you? as i was saying, my new years resolution is relatively simple, it is to "keep things simple and stick to the basics." seems easy enough doesn't it?
...well, it is, and, it isn't. perplexedly, i've come to find that simplicity is complex. inconceivable, even the smallest decisions can lead to complex results. in reality, it's simple, just stick to the basics. i think you'll find that there's a lot more to it than you know.
seeing is the hard part... watch for opportunity. if only we could just see something, do it, and get it done. the trouble is to see something new and to simultaneously do it at the same time. to prudently act on impulse wisely. although the truth is that it's difficult, however, it doesn't have to be hard.
...doing is the easy part. pay attention. it is important to understand. before we can begin doing anything, we must understand, observe and respect what it is to see it. in life we collect filters develop biases look through lenses. although, if we suspend judgment without reservations, we can accomplish.
see first; do now. in my experience, i have spent a great deal of time thinking about what to do before actually do it. it's not before long when i realize, for all the time i spent thinking, i wasted precious moments i could've used to act.... without lingering or hesitation, to be a seer and a doer, it's not a question of how, or when to do something, it's only just to do it. Accept we will make mistakes.
